At Brechin, you may have heard the home `support' moaning away and calling for the Brechin manager to resign.  The East Fife Mail carried a story about Gary Naismith asking fans to stop booing the players during games

Yet Arbroath fans, with very few exceptions, have been remarkably patient despite our most dismal run of results for over a decade.  There has been anguish and discouragement but we have generally stuck with the team so far.

Paul Sheerin has banked a huge amount of credit for his first two fabulous seasons, especially the historic Divsion 3 Championship so that's been a factor.   But the fans have also appreciated how we have tried to play football constructively.   OK our defending has been tragic on many occasions but there does not seem to have been a lack of effort or commitment on behalf of the players

Can we still stay patient for the last 9 games, irrespective of results?  Can we channel this positive support to enabling the team to play their way out of our current predicament?

Either way - well done the Lichtie support, and keep it going
