Manager Paul Sheerin admitted Arbroath didn’t do enough to stay up.

Goals from Caolan McAleer and sub Liam Coogans won it for Airdrie and sent the visitors down to League Two.

Sheerin said: “I’m obviously disappointed. We didn’t do enough on the day to get something out of the game.”
