lichtie36nilhello: an awful Queens Park disp angeose rlay against a ruthless super Lichtie team. Probably the worst away display of the season, or was it that AFC were superb
1320lichtie Well first half we had the wind and were the better team , first goal was a beaut for 2 reasons because the referee blew after McGowan was one on one with Crawford meaning that when he called it back abdy went off there nut only for Sellars to curl one top bag (what a player he is btw ) and the 2nd one was a dodgy penalty but overall I felt we deserved to go in 2-0 up.
2nd half they threatened a wee bit and was worried after Rattray and someone else (Ross?) missed really good chances and I had the worst feeling something bad was away to happen , but then Sellars curls in a beauty of a cross which wee poofy DC fucked up leaving Dobbo to smash home.
Overall good performance from the whole team notably Sellars , Ross , Forsyth and McGowan , wee shout out for Scotty too who showed he was a class apart in the little time he had on the pitch. l
lichte23: That's a pretty good report of how things panned out!
Thought Forsyth was brilliant on the left and roddy broke everything up in the middle! Fraser was also very impressive in his 1st game back.
As I said in other thread thought the ref was bit more on our side than queens, though overall all he was absolutey shocking! Never let the game flow and is lucky sellars bent the free kick in after he didn't play the advantage that would have lead to mcgowan scoring! Also thought he missed a blatent sending off for ross when he kicked out at a downed queens player in the center circle!
Thought queens looked awful today! Things really don't look good for them if they play like that every week!
And to top off a pretty decent afternoon, east fife beat alloa! Happy days
